The family's story

The Hernandez family of five is facing a housing crisis in the place they have called home for years. Their more than 50-year-old mobile home has deteriorated to the point that the flooring is unsafe, the bathroom is nearly unusable, and continued repairs are no longer a sustainable solution.

Both parents have historically worked full time, with their adult son also contributing to the household. Recent medical setbacks have temporarily taken the father and son out of work, reducing the family's income while medical expenses continue to grow.

Replacing the deteriorating home with a newer mobile home would provide something this family needs as they regain financial stability: a safe, functional and dignified place to call home.
