About Us

Welcome to Silver Coast Copper — a small-batch, handcrafted copper art bullion shop on the historic ocean waterfront of Wilmington, North Carolina.

Born on the Carolina Coast

Silver Coast Copper started the way most good things do — with a love of the craft and a stubborn belief that beautiful, honest work still matters. From our small workshop in Wilmington, we hand-pour, hand-finish, and hand-inspect every piece of copper art bullion we make. The Atlantic is always in view of our shop, and that easy, salt-air mindset finds its way into everything we create.

Made by Hand, One Bar at a Time

We don't run a factory. We're a small business that cares deeply about quality. Each pour is poured by hand, each finish is applied by hand, and each piece is inspected before it ever ships. Because our work is handmade, no two pieces are exactly alike — small variations in patina, texture, and color are part of what makes your bar yours.

What Goes Into Every Piece

  • .999 fine copper — premium, investment-grade material in every pour
  • Hand-poured in small batches — never mass-produced
  • Heat-painted & high-polish finishes — done one bar at a time
  • Clear-coated for protection — preserving the finish you fell in love with
  • Inspected before shipping — if it's not right, it doesn't go out

Why Copper. Why Now.

Copper has been quietly powering the modern world for over 150 years — from electrification to renewable energy to the data centers behind everything you do online. As an art bullion piece, it's a beautiful, tangible way to hold a metal that's been called "the new oil." Whether you collect for the craft, the metal, or both, we make pieces worth holding onto.

Built on Trust

We're a small family business and your trust means everything. Every order ships from our Wilmington shop, usually within 5 business days. Free shipping on orders over $150. If something isn't right when it arrives, email us — It will be made right.
